Overview

Day 1: Delhi arrival
The Golden Triangle Tour with Udaipur begins with arrival on Delhi Airport. A representative from Tour Waves will welcome and accompany you to the hotel. Check-in and relax. If you are feeling spirited you can come up with exciting ideas to traverse the high-spirited city life of Delhi that remains awake during the night also.

Day 2: Delhi sightseeing
Have a delicious breakfast in Delhi and move for a visit to one of the oldest monuments in Delhi i.e. the Red Fort in the complex of which Jama Mosque is also an attraction. Then visit the Raj Ghat, have a drive past India Gate, President’s House and the Parliament House After this the if the time allows visit the Qutub Minar constructed by Qutub-ud-din Aibak in South Delhi or spend time in the Hauz Khas Village, Lotus Temple. In the evening you can enjoy the light and music show at the Red Fort or enjoy shopping and relish local cuisines in the Chandni Chawk Market. Return to the hotel and retire for the night.
Note: Red Fort and Lotus Temple remains closed on Mondays.

Day 3: Travel from Delhi to Agra (231 kms)
Start an early day, have breakfast and travel to Agra, the next destination of the Golden Triangle Tour with Udaipur. Agra was the major hub during the Mughal rule in India as it was the capital of the most successful Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is the reason why you will find a number of monuments and delicious Mughal cuisines which it has inherited. On reaching Agra, check-in the hotel and have some rest. In the evening you will be taken to the grand Taj Mahal, to witness the unparallel beauty of this marvelous white marble built monument. The Taj Mahal has famous story of the love of Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal associated with its construction. Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is the pride of India with many VVIP’s visiting this beauty. Afterwards visit to the local market and shop for the locally made famous white marble statues and other items.
Note: Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.

Day 4: Travel from Agra to Jaipur (241 kms)
On this day, begin an early day and move towards Taj to witness its beauty during the sunrise, then come back to the hotel and have breakfast. Then check-out and visit the Agra Fort. Then proceed towards Jaipur. En-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri, the fort complex at Fatehpur Sikri is assembled with different awe-inspiring constructions like Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, Mariyam-uz-Zamani’s Palace, etc which you will be visiting. Check into the hotel on reaching Jaipur and relax overnight.

Day 5: Jaipur sightseeing
The beautiful Pink City is an amazing blend of rich heritage, royalty and modernization. In the morning march towards one of the largest forts in India the ‘Amber Fort’ to experience the royal heritage of this city. Then with a drive past Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal visit to the City Palace of Jaipur is scheduled. The next stop is the Albert Hall Museum followed by the Chouki-Dhani Village. Return to the hotel and rest overnight.

Day 6: Travel from Jaipur to Udaipur (412 kms)
Starting the day with tempting breakfast begin journey towards Udaipur, also called the ‘Lake City or the ‘Venice of the East’. Tour Waves has added this city in the Golden Triangle Tour experience to make your stay even more exotic and exquisite. Check in into the pre-booked hotel and take some rest and refreshment. At night visit Pichhola Lake for an enchanting view of the City Palace. Stay in the hotel overnight.

Day 7: Udaipur sightseeing
The day begins with the breakfast, then a visit to the City Palace of Udaipur. The City Palace is a royal palace, have of which has been turned into a tourist place and museum and the rest remains the residence of the royal family of Udaipur. Situated on the hilltop, this magnificent building gives awe-inspiring view of the Jag Mandir, Taj Lake Palace and the Lake Pichhola. Afterwards the Bagore Ki Haveli Museum is the spot you will be covering. Then Lake Fateh Sagar followed by the Moti Magri is in the itinerary. You may also visit the Shilpgram in Udaipur if you are an art lover. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 8: Departure
The day marks the end of the Golden Triangle Tour with Udaipur and you will be taken to the Delhi Airport from Udaipur City.
